2 Year guarantee on your okozo products

All okozo products come with a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee when the claim is accompanied with a valid Proof of Purchase. This 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee, as detailed below, is provided exclusively to the first purchaser, beginning at the purchase date (guarantee period). All statutory rights remain unaffected by this policy.

The 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee applies exclusively if the usability of the luggage is adversely affected by a manufacturing or material defect that was present at the time that the item was handed over. Excluded from the manufacturer’s guarantee are problems in which the usability of the product is restricted but not adversely affected, such as by abrasion, improper use, faulty operation, stains or externally occurring forces (such as damage occurring during flights or transport including cracks, dents, deformation, scratches, wear etc.) as well as by liquids.

Damage caused by third parties (e.g. airline) should be immediately reported directly to the carrier who will be insured against this. Please note that you are obligated to declare any damage with the airline in accordance with its terms and conditions; this will have to be done right after landing and in person.

Also excluded from the manufacturer’s guarantee is luggage that was purchased where the product was labelled as second hand or as “graded stock” or “returns” or were purchased as part of a “sample sale”. The guarantee is limited to the value of the product.

To assert a claim under the 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee, please immediately inform okozo by completing the contact form within the guarantee period and provide pictures of the damage as well as original proof of purchase. Based on the information provided, okozo will then decide whether or not the damage to the okozo product is covered by the guarantee. If an event covered by this warranty occurs, 477 West GmbH will, in its discretion, remove the defects by repair, replacement of the defective part or replacement supply. In case of replacement supply, 477 West GmbH reserves the right to deliver an okozo product of a different colour if the original colour is not available at the time. Please note that due to the limited nature of okozo products, the replacement supply will apply to the same model of okozo without the special edition application, subject to availability. The 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee is strictly limited to the value of the product.
These warranties are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the applicability of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The warranty shall continue to apply to the repaired or replaced okozo products; the original Warranty Period is not extended, however.

How to Assert a Claim
